Meet Fatima Noor, President Obama's latest appointment to a high level position in the Department of Homeland IN-Security, the post of Assistant Director for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration. Ms. Noor has little, if any experience in the compliance or enforcement fields. Her total experience in government related work is limited to volunteer work with World Relief Memphis and as activities coordinator the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition. She majored in psychology with minors in Spanish and Arabic international relations. She recently completed a month-long research fellowship in Muslim psychology hosted by Carnegie-Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh, yes you read that correctly.  One entire month long research fellowship; her research will be ongoing as part of her work with the DHS. No, this is not a joke.

Survivors of the Benghazi attack now available to talk to lawmakers

WASHINGTON –  New details about what happened the night of the Benghazi terror attack one year ago may finally be made public. 

CIA Director John Brennan now says his agency will make survivors of the Benghazi attack available to talk to lawmakers, in a possible breakthrough for members of Congress investigating the strike.

President Obama promised to track down those responsible and bring them to justice. It’s now one year later and we are just now going to hear from the survivors! One year later! One year before those on the ground will be heard from, why is that??? Did it take the CIA that long to dig up dirt on them to keep them silent? Or did they have to threaten them for a year before Obama was sure they would not tell the truth about what happened? One year folks, one year later and still nothing!

Give me a break! The Obama administration is guilty of the murders of those 4 brave men. Stevens died because of what he knew the administration was doing and was about to go public and the others where hung out to dry with him because Obama and Hilary would not send our troops to protect them. They both need to be put behind bars for their role in those killings.

Does the Bible still matter in 2012?

After all the very visible fighting about public displays of religious symbols— from 10 Commandments plaques to graveyard crosses to faith-themed war memorials to holiday manger displays—you might have developed the impression that most Americans don’t think the Bible matters today and they like it that way.

You’d be wrong. That makes me feel better

There is a lot of speculation about both the current role and the appropriate role of the Bible in America. But each year, American Bible Society puts the guessing aside and asks a sampling of Americans to tell us how they view and use the Bible and what they believe its role should be in America.  Recently, American Bible Society released this year’s results from that research in the 2012 State of the Bible report.

The State of the Bible in America in 2012 can be summed up in a two words: encouraging and unsettling. I would think that this has always been the case

The research, commissioned by American Bible Society and conducted by Barna Research, found that the majority of Americans (69%) believe the Bible provides answers on how to live a meaningful life. Depending on how you view this, could be bad, could be good. Good that 69% believe, bad that only 69% believe...But while 79% believe they are knowledgeable about the Bible, 54% were unable to correctly identify the first five books of the Bible.  And approximately half of Americans surveyed didn’t know the fundamental differences between the teachings of the Bible, Koran and Book of Mormon, with 46% percent saying they believe all three books teach the same spiritual truths. Proving what? That people know about the bible but don't know the bible...

While nearly half of Americans (47%) believe the Bible has too little influence in society—Well, that is good, would be better if 95% believed the Bible has too little influence in America a far cry from the anti-faith picture often painted in culture—approximately half (46%) say they read the Bible no more than once or twice a year. Because it is not in vogue 

What The State of the Bible report also confirmed is that the lack of engagement with the Bible among Americans isn’t caused by a lack of access to it. Here in the United States, 85% of households own a Bible. Actually, most families own more than one, with a household average of 4.3 Bibles. Why is it that we can't open it, read it and share it with our families everyday? Everyday the Bible speaks to what we are experiencing. You just need to open it and find the example, it is there!

Looking more closely at the data, something really interesting emerges. When we examine responses to the question “Do you believe the Bible contains everything a person needs to live a meaningful life?”, we find that older respondents agreed at a much higher rate than did younger respondents. While 61% of those surveyed between ages 18-27 agreed, those 47 years and older agreed at a rate of 75%. Why? because they do not understand the Bible. They need to read and study the Bible, then through thoughtful consideration, they can make intelligent and informed decisions. Their eyes will be opened.

Before you assert that older people are just naturally more traditional, remember that the older group is made up of the Woodstock generation, free-love ‘70s kids and the MTV generation. The data seems to say that the older you are, the more likely you are to value the Bible. Maybe it’s that our own life experiences prove the value of the Bible’s wisdom? Ha ha, you think? 

There is no doubt that the findings in The State of the Bible lead to some obvious questions. For instance…

 If Americans believe in the value of reading and applying the Bible, why don’t more of us do so? Perhaps it is pressure from the world, reading the Bible is not cool in the main stream. 

 If we believe that the Bible has the right amount of—or too little—influence in society, why is so much negative attention given to expressions of the faith in the God of the Bible? Because it is true. The Bible is truth. It's writings are proven without doubt and that scares people who do not want to fully submit to the facts

When survey participants were asked what frustrated them most about reading the Bible, the most oft-cited response was that they “never had enough time to read it.” Hmmm, I wonder if they will have time to die? Perhaps, they are to busy to live??? The busy-ness of our lives often make it difficult for us to follow through on what we say we value. BULL! Another reason I often hear from non-Bible readers is that they find the sheer size of the Bible to be overwhelming. Try just reading a few pages a day. Rome was not built in a day

So where does someone start who wants to be a Bible reader but doesn’t have a lot of time? Go to a bible study. When you are having fun and learning, you will find the time  A good place to begin is with the “Essential 100.”  This list of 100 key verses and related stories do not contain everything the Bible has to say.  What it does provide is a concise way to understand the bigger arc of the Bible without getting bogged down. For all of those who wonder what the Bible is really all about, The Essential 100 (available at e100.americanbible.org) is a great starting point.

So is the Bible really relevant in 2012? You won’t know until you read it.

These guys were Arabs, so I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home following the President's recent visit to France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband.

They told me she could not go to Saudi Arabia,Turkey or Iraq . I said "Why not,(?) Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia , Turkey and Dubai ." They said that Obama is a Muslim and therefore he is not allowed to bring his wife into countries that adhere to Sharia Law. Two points of interest here: 1) I thought it interesting that two American Arabs at Blockbuster believe that our President is a Muslim, 2) who follows a strict Islamic creed.

They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia . It was a signal to the Muslim world, acknowledging his religion. This is true and it is why Obama left Michelle in Europe . She will stay home when he visits Arab countries. He knows Muslim protocol; this includes, bowing to the Saudi King. Note that he downplays his involvement with Christianity, by not publicly joining a Christian church in D.C. And occasionally attending the chapel for services at Camp David . He has publicly taken the side of the Palestinians in the conflict with Israel and he ignored the National Day of Prayer, something no other President has ever done. He is bad news! Two Black Americans were elected to congress this cycle, and both are Republican. Col. West is from southern Florida . He won in a walk.

This new Congressman was an extremely popular commander in Iraq . He was forced to retire because during an intense combat action a few of his men were captured. At the same time his men captured one of the guys who were with the Iraqis who captured his men.

Knowing that time was crucial and his interrogators were not getting anywhere with the prisoner, Col. West took matters into his own hands. He burst into the room and demanded through an interpreter that the prisoner tell him where his men were being taken.

The prisoner refused so Col. West took out his pistol and placed it into the prisoner's crotch and fired. Then the Col. told the prisoner that the next shot would not miss. So the prisoner said he would show where the American service members were being taken.

The Americans were rescued. Someone filed a report on incorrect handling of prisoners. Col. West was forced to retire. Col. West was just elected in November 2010 to Congress from Florida . During the elections he was part of a panel on how to handle or how to relate to Muslims.

Obama, Preparing For Martial Law?

Obama Signs Executive Order Allowing Control Over All US Resources

 On March 16th, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands upon a prior order issued in 1950 for Disaster Preparedness, and gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency. Is Obama making preparations for the election? Ok, that was not funny, this is very serious stuff!

The National Defense Resources Preparedness order gives the Executive Branch the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree under the auspices of national defense and national security. The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order's functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations. Now this is very scary! “CONTROL of RESOURCES” that is everything, water food and transportation!

Section 101. Purpose. This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the "Act").

(b) assess on an ongoing basis the capability of the domestic industrial and technological base to satisfy requirements in peacetime and times of national emergency, specifically evaluating the availability of the most critical resource and production sources, including subcontractors and suppliers, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel; - White House

Additionally, each cabinet under the Executive Branch has been given specific powers when the order is executed, and include the absolute control over food, water, and other resource distributions. So there it is in a nut shell. Wonder if the States will have anything to say about this?

Sec. 201. Priorities and Allocations Authorities. (a) The authority of the President conferred by section 101 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071, to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders (other than contracts of employment) to promote the national defense over performance of any other contracts or orders, and to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:

(1) the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer; So the government will have control of all this, not just in war time but anytime Mr. Obama feels like it! He can take control of your food and the production of it. Last I heard, that didn’t even work in Russia.

(2) the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy; All the gas stations and production of fuel!

(3) the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources; There will be no health issues then, other than trying to stay alive!

(4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation; So, all travel…anywhere! For any reason!! You could not even ride away on your horse under this law!!!

(5) the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; Now hear this, the military will tell you when and where you can get a drink of water. O-yes, and how much and for who!

(6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials. Better not try to build a shelter in the woods…you can’t run, you can’t hide, you can’t get water or food without permission from Obama! Remember, he is looking out for the little guy

(e) "Food resources" means all commodities and products, (simple, mixed, or compound), or complements to such commodities or products, that are capable of being ingested by either human beings or animals, WHAT!!!!! irrespective of other uses to which such commodities or products may be put, at all stages of processing from the raw commodity to the products thereof in vendible form for human or animal consumption. "Food resources" also means potable water packaged in commercially marketable containers, all starches, sugars, vegetable and animal or marine fats and oils, seed, cotton, hemp, and flax fiber, Obama could take complete control over all this without any WAR reason at all. but does not mean any such material after it loses its identity as an agricultural commodity or agricultural product. What is that? Poop?

Executive Orders created for national defense and national preparedness are not new in American history, but in each instance they brought about a Constitutional crisis that nearly led standing Presidents to hold dictatorial power over the citizenry. During the Civil War, President Lincoln halted freedom of speech and freedom of the press, while at the same time revoking Habeas Corpus and the right to a fair trial under the sixth amendment. OK, so, Civil War…that would be a reason for sure. Is that what Obama is expecting?  During World War I, when Congress refused to grant Woodrow Wilson extended power over resources to help the war effort, he invoked an Executive Order which allowed him complete control over businesses, industry, transportation, food, and other economic policies.

In both cases, it was only after the death of each President that full Constitutional powers were restored to the citizens of the United States. Dang…until death do we part...

The economy of the United States is based on the free flow of resources, energy, and the rights of consumers to buy and sell as they see fit. Any interference in this economic process quickly leads to shortages, rising prices, and civil unrest. The purpose of President Obama signing this new Executive Order is yet unclear, however, it may coincide with information coming out of Israel yesterday that plans for a tactical or strategic strike on Iran are accelerating. Oil prices in Europe rose over $3 a barrel for Brent crude after the Israeli actions, and US oil prices rose $2 for WTI. So, Obama fears a civil war here. With actions like he just took, he may have one soon!

The Obama administration appears to be preparing for a long drawn out war in the Middle East, or at the very least, an expected crisis that will require the need to override Constitutional authority and claim dominion over all resources in the United States under the guise of national defense. With the rise in Disaster Preparedness growing for both individuals and states leading up to yesterday's Executive Order, the mood of the nation points strongly towards some event or disaster that will require massive preparations on a national as well as local scale. I have sent many of you direct e-mails about how the government expects this very thing to happen and how they are not prepared for it. The only thing this order does is take away the rights of Americans to defend and feed their families the best way they can. The EMP scare is very real from a nuke and even from the sun!

All who study the likely hood of such events agrees it is not a matter of if, IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME! 

This last week I visited with a State Rep at a cattleman meeting who gave me this advice, "get and hold onto tangible assets" because he really believes there is a crash coming.

I also spoke with a gun instructor who said "20 years, I give it 20 years" when talking about a full out of control civil war because of the class warfare that is being promoted today.

This is after I posted the blog on the Muslim and EMP issues. Don't stick your head in the sand, start making intelligent preparations!

If the pope called for the destruction of all the mosques in Europe, the uproar would be cataclysmic. Pundits would lambaste the church, the White House would rush out a statement of deep concern, (deep concern? ok, what ever it takes to make you feel good) and rioters in the Middle East would kill each other in their grief. But when the most influential leader in the Muslim world issues a fatwa to destroy Christian churches, the silence is deafening. So, tell me, Is Obama afraid of them because he grew up in their country and fully understands how radical and full of hate they are. Does he understand 1^st hand that this Muslim religion calls for the total annihilation of all other beliefs in the world? Is this why he is silent, because he is afraid of them? Or is it because he agrees with and is sympathetic to their cause?

On March 12, Sheik Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia, declared that it is “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.” Wow! How would you like to live there? The ruling came in response to a query from a Kuwaiti delegation over proposed legislation to prevent construction of churches in the emirate. Obama was upset that Americans ask a mosque not be built on the spot where over 3000 Americans were killed by Muslims. We only asked that they build it down the block aways. Obama was outraged that we would show such intolerance... What does he say about this Muslim news story? Nothing!  The mufti based his decision on a story that on his deathbed, Muhammad declared, “There are not to be two religions in the [Arabian] Peninsula.” This passage has long been used to justify intolerance in the kingdom. Churches have always been banned in Saudi Arabia, and until recently Jews were not even allowed in the country. Those wishing to worship in the manner of their choosing must do so hidden away in private, and even then the morality police have been known to show up unexpectedly and halt proceedings.  This is not a small-time radical imam trying to stir up his followers with fiery hate speech. This was a considered, deliberate and specific ruling from one of the most important leaders in the Muslim world. It does not just create a religious obligation for those over whom the mufti has direct authority; it is also a signal to others in the Muslim world that destroying churches is not only permitted but mandatory. And Obama praises this religion? And Obama is your president? What does this say about the direction of our country?

Obama administration: Student Plans Must Cover Contraception

The Obama administration moved forward Friday afternoon in implementing the controversial contraception rule, saying that student health insurance plans must cover preventive services.

After a month of intense debate, the administration finally put the rule in writing Friday and asked the public to comment on the proposed rule for the next 90 days.  The rule would require health insurance plans to provide women with access to birth control with no cost-sharing. Why does Obama not just come out and say it! He wants and approves of baby killing; it goes with his belief as a Muslim to kill the infidels. What better way than to make sure that American women kill their babies before they are born than mandating that all Abortions are free  It would allow religious organizations to opt out, instead requiring the health insurers to provide contraception funding directly. Similar rules would apply to colleges and universities, with religious institutions being exempt. I wonder how this would go over in the Muslim world. As barbaric as they are, would they use abortion as a means of birth control?

President When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct. Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions. His actions are very clear and speak even louder then his words.  Listed below in chronological order are (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations; (2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith. 1. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. 8 February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. 9 April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. 10 August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception. 11 November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial. 12 November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech. 13 December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. 14 January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. 15 February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. 16 2. Acts of hostility from the Obama-led military toward people of Biblical faith: June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery. 17 August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America). 18 September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains. 19 September 2011 – The Army issues guidelines for Walter Reed Medical Center stipulating that “No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading materials and/or facts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” 20 November 2011 – The Air Force Academy rescinds support for Operation Christmas Child, a program to send holiday gifts to impoverished children across the world, because the program is run by a Christian charity. 21 November 2011 – The Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans. 22 February 2012 – The U. S. Military Academy at West Point disinvites three star Army general and decorated war hero Lieutenant General William G. (“Jerry”) Boykin (retired) from speaking at an event because he is an outspoken Christian. 23 February 2012 – The Air Force removes “God” from the patch of Rapid Capabilities Office (the word on the patch was in Latin: Dei). 24 February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read. 25 3. Acts of hostility toward Biblical values: January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations. 26 January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional. 27 March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit. 28 March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research. 29 March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations. 30 May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. 31 He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets. 32 May 2009 – Obama officials assemble a terrorism dictionary calling pro-life advocates violent and charging that they use racism in their “criminal” activities. 33 July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extends federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 34 September 16, 2009 – The Obama administration appoints as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum, who asserts that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, if they may negatively affect homosexual “equality.” 35 July 2010 – The Obama administration uses federal funds in violation of federal law to get Kenya to change its constitution to include abortion. 36 August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. 37 September 2010 – The Obama administration tells researchers to ignore a judge’s decision striking down federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. 38 February 2011 – Obama directs the Justice Department to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 39 March 2011 – The Obama administration refuses to investigate videos showing Planned Parenthood helping alleged sex traffickers get abortions for victimized underage girls. 40 July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778. 41 September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 42 October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion. 43 4. Acts of preferentialism for Islam: May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. 44 April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. 45 April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. 46 August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. 47 August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 48 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. 49 October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. 50 February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. 52 Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history.
