People in Washington are always talking about having a balanced approach to everything.
He inquired, "Where have you been?"
God smiled deeply and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made."
Archangel Michael looked puzzled, and said, "What is it?"
"It's a planet," replied God, and I've put life on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a place to test Balance."
"Balance?" inquired Michael, "I'm still confused."
God explained, pointing to different parts of Earth. "For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth, while southern Europe is going to be poor. Over here I've placed a continent of white people, and over there is a continent of black people. Balance in all things."
God continued pointing to different countries. "This one will be extremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered in ice."
The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a land area and said, "What's that one?"
"That's Colorado, the most glorious place on earth. There are beautiful Mountains and Prairies, rivers and streams, lakes, forests, hills, and the plains." Then God Said, "This is Colorado, the center of America... The people of Colorado are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent, and humorous, and they are going to travel the world. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking, high achieving, carriers of peace, and producers of good things."
Michael gasped in wonder and admiration, but then asked, "But what about balance, God? You said there would be balance."
God smiled, "I will create Washington, D.C. Wait till you see the idiots I put there."

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a"National Day of Prayer."
In 1988 President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer..
In June 2007(then) Presidential Candidate Barack Obama
declared that the USA "Was no longer a Christian nation.
This year President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse Of "not wanting to offend anyone"
BUT... on September 25, 2009
from 4 AM until 7 PM, a National Day of Prayer FOR THE MUSLIM RELIGION was Held on Capitol Hill,
Beside the White House.. There were over 50,000 Muslims in D.C. that day. HE PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS!
I guess it Doesn't matter if "Christians"
Are offended by this event - We obviously Don't count as "anyone" Anymore.
The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian,
especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be
converted, they should be annihilated.
