Federal Judge Carter sets Trial Date for Obama's Eligibility!

The expedited trial has been set for Jan. 26, 2010!

Many concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people..

Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama's request for dismissal. He indicated there was almost no chance that this case would be dismissed. Obama is arguing this lawsuit was filed in the wrong court if you can believe that. Obama would prefer a "kangaroo court" instead of a Federal court! Assuming Judge Carter denies Obama's motion for dismissal, he will likely then order expedited discovery which will force Obama to release his birth certificate in a timely manner (if he has one). The judge, WHO IS A FORMER U.S. MARINE, repeated several times that this is A VERY SERIOUS CASE which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful orders to our military in this time of war. He basically said OBAMA MUST PROVE HIS ELIGIBILITY to the court! He said Americans deserve to know the truth about their President!

The two U.S. Attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it and cut them off several times. Obama's attorneys left the courtroom after about the 90 minute hearing looking defeated and nervous.

Great day in America for the U.S. Constitution! The truth about Barack Obama's eligibility will be known fairly soon - Judge Carter practically guaranteed it!

Australian geologist Ian Plimer, tells it like it is; The e-mails "show that data was massaged, numbers were fudged, diagrams were biased, there was destruction of data after freedom of information requests, and there was refusal to submit taxpayer-funded data for independent examination."
Global warming alarmist George Monbiot of the Guardian concedes that the e-mails "could scarcely be more damaging," adding, "I'm dismayed and deeply shaken by them." He has called for the resignation of the CRU director.

The Copenhagen climate summit was convened to get the leaders of nations to commit to sharp reductions in carbon dioxide emissions — and thus sharp reductions in almost all energy usage, at huge economic cost.

To continue… the consensus was based in large part on CRU data that was, to take the charitable explanation, "complete rubbish" or, to take the more dire view, the product of deliberate fraud.
Quite possibly the CRU e-mailers were sincere in their belief that they were saving the planet. Like Al Gore, they wanted to convince the world's elites that the time for argument is over, the scientific consensus is clear and those who disagree can be dismissed as cranks (and should be disqualified from receiving research grants).

Predictions like Al Gores, impose enormous costs on the American and world economies, but is this not the agenda of Obama also?

Why is Barack Obama going to Copenhagen? This whole thing seems to be a waste of time and energy. China and India are not going to choke off their dazzling economic growth to please Western global warming alarmists, and If Obama agrees to any concessions that impair or limit the USA, he needs thrown out of office by his ear!

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Republican National Committee identifies ten (10) key public policy positions for the 2010 election cycle, which the Republican National Committee expects its public officials and candidates to support:
(1) We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama’s “stimulus” bill;
(2) We support market-based health care reform and oppose Obama-style government run healthcare;
(3) We support market-based energy reforms by opposing cap and trade legislation;
(4) We support workers’ right to secret ballot by opposing card check;
(5) We support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants;
(6) We support victory in Iraq and Afghanistan by supporting military-recommended troop surges;
(7) We support containment of Iran and North Korea , particularly effective action to eliminate their nuclear weapons threat;
(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act;
(9) We support protecting the lives of vulnerable persons by opposing health care rationing and denial of health care and government funding of abortion; and
(10) We support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership; and be further
RESOLVED, that a candidate who disagrees with three or more of the above stated public policy position of the Republican National Committee, as identified by the voting record, public statements and/or signed questionnaire of the candidate, shall not be eligible for financial support and endorsement by the Republican National Committee.

This all sounds good to me except for the “disagrees with three or more”. That is a cop out and a recipe for failure. Stand firm or don’t stand at all!

Health Care Takeover

In the final minutes of a daylong session, Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., accused Republicans on Saturday of trying to stifle a historic debate the nation needed.

The Republican leader, Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, said the vote was anything but procedural — casting it as a referendum on the bill itself, which he said would raise taxes, cut Medicare and create a "massive and unsustainable debt."



Vice President Joe Biden told Iowa Democrats that the Senate handed the president a big victory with its decision.
"Tonight we have more momentum than we've ever had in the history of health care discussions,'" Biden told about 1,000 Democrats in Des Moines.

The legislation would require most Americans to carry insurance and provide subsidies to those who couldn't afford it. Large companies could incur costs if they did not provide coverage to their workforce. The insurance industry would come under significant new regulation under the bill, which would first ease and then ban the practice of denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions.

Congressional budget analysts put the legislation's cost at $979 billion over a decade.

About 6 months ago a oil news program asked a Forbes brother a question, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer, how much oil does the U.S. have in the ground." Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put together.."
The U. S. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) (Link is above) that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota ; western South Dakota ; and extreme eastern Montana .... check this out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

They had no idea..' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.'This sizable find is now the highest-producing on shore oil field found in the past 56 years' reports, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

Obama denies terrorism

I have waited for days to hear this administration label the attack at Fort Hood for what it is, the 1st terrorist attack on US soil since 9-11! Perhaaps this is no wonder now that they have declared that such an act is not terrorism any more but a “man made disaster”. This Presidents left wing agenda is very apparent. He is quick to condemn the police department in Cambridge without knowing the facts but when the facts are very apparent in the Fort hood shootings, Obama says not to jump to conclusions. Make no mistake about this, your President is not acting like an American!

While admitting he was not familiar with all the facts in the case, President Obama took the side of Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., saying the Cambridge, Mass., police "acted stupidly" in arresting him at his home.

"I don't know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that. But I think it's fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly”

Sharon Gregory, 48, who lives just a few roads away from Fort Worth said the community had long feared an attack.
"I kind of thought after 9/11, it was only a matter of time before there was a terrorist attack here. I almost wish it had been," she told the Texas Statesman newspaper.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) Wednesday called the Fort Hood killings an “act of terror” and joined a parade of GOP critics in suggesting that “political correctness” might have been a factor in not preventing the shootings.
“We ought to make sure ‘political correctness’ never impedes national security,” McCain said in a speech at the University of Louisville.
McCain’s comments echoed those of a variety of Republican politicians and commentators — as well as Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn) — over the past few days as information about the background of the alleged shooter has surfaced in the media. The criticisms, which initially focused on the failure of the administration and the Army to use the word “terrorism” or “jihadism” in connection with Fort Hood, are now being merged with a larger Republican portrayal of the Obama administration’s approach toward terrorism generally.
Barack Obama gave his second statement on the Fort Hood massacre, and this one went better than his first. He cautioned Americans to let law-enforcement agencies do their job in investigating the 13 murders apparently committed by Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan and to avoid “jumping to conclusions” based on incomplete data.

"We don't know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said in a Rose Garden statement otherwise devoted to the economy.

My friend from Alaska sent me some information and I felt compelled to share it here on my blog

The last 45 of my 66 years I've spent in a commercial fishing town in
Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until
this last year. Here's the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin
controversy gets it. It's not about persona, style, rhetoric, it's
about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that
I'm about to mention here.

1-Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as
soon as Palin took the Governor's office away from a fellow Republican
and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican's
"Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now
residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by
skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la
la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that
has ever done anything similar.

2-Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the
huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new
system of splitting the oil profits called "ACES." Exxon (the biggest
corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, "don't let
the door hit you in the stern on your way out." They stayed, and
Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the
other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again,
give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.

3-The other thing she did when she walked into the governor's office is
she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as
"pork." She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed
them in the "when-hell-freezes-over" stack. She let locals
know that if we need something built, we'll pay for it ourselves. Maybe
she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous
governor's jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by
dismissing the governor's cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family),
giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already
had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never
mentioning - I imagine - that she's packing heat herself). I'm still
waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

4-Now, even with her much-ridiculed "gosh and golly" mannerism, she
also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas
pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the
history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If
that doesn't impress you, then you're trying too hard to be unimpressed
while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with
her other hand..

5-For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place
called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they
couldn't start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No
governor for 30 years could make them get started... This summer, she told them
she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and
threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to
the court house. Alaska won again.

6-President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for
electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for
Alaska to be at 50% renewables by 2025. We are already at 25%. I
can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and
persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that's just a
cover-up. I'm still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other
governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. I won't be
holding my breath.

By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and
go to work, but the haters wouldn't let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a
barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.

You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along
with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her.
I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral
people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents' wives.

So "You go, Girl." I only wish the men in Washington had your guts,
determination, honesty, and morals.

What is your congressman doing about health care?

During a rare weekend vote, the House of Representatives, late at night passed H.R. 3962, the Democrat $1.3 trillion government takeover of health care. Congressman Hastings opposed this legislation along with 39 Democrats and all but one House Republicans.

"If signed into law, this bill will result in a government takeover of our health care. This bill means taxes will be raised, health care costs will increase, Medicare will be cut, choices will be eliminated, the national debt will go up, businesses will lay off employees, and access to quality health care will decrease. Our Republican alternative would have lowered health care costs while protecting jobs and preserving the doctor-patient relationship. Unfortunately this common sense solution was rejected by the Democrats that control in favor of a plan that puts the federal government in charge of where, when, if and how Americans get health care."

"Rather than penalizing already-struggling small businesses, Congress must make it easier for them to afford health benefits. We must increase choices, make health costs tax deductible, expand health savings accounts, end waste fraud and abuse and control unnecessary lawsuits that drive up costs for everyone. I support reform that lets Americans keep their doctor, lowers costs, and keeps medical decisions between the patient and their doctor."

"The Democrat bill arbitrarily bars doctors from opening new doctor-owned hospitals, including the 124 that are currently under construction, and severely restricts the 235 existing doctor-owned hospitals like the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center in my district from expanding their services. We are headed down a very dangerous road when the federal government is getting in the business of deciding who can and who cannot own a hospital."

"There is a better solution than a government takeover of health care - and it doesn't involve penalizing hospitals, raising taxes or cutting Medicare. The plan I support focuses on lowing costs by expanding health care choices and tools to help families save, making it easier for small businesses to afford to offer care, ending lawsuit abuse, and protecting the doctor-patient relationship from government intrusion."

Obama wants to honor Muslims after attack?

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who killed 11 people before being shot dead at Fort Hood, had said Muslims should "rise up" and attack Americans in retaliation for the US war in Iraq, a former army colleague said last night. (perhaps they have in a way greater than we know, Obama)

"He was making outlandish comments condemning our foreign policy and claimed Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans," Col Lee told Fox News.

"He said Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor and that we should not be in the war in the first place." He said that Maj Hasan said he was "happy" when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings.

Col Lee said that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said "maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square" in New York

Real health care reform

THE HEALTH CARE DISASTER IN CANADA

After more than a decade of public health care with mandatory coverage, so many Canadian doctors have left the practice and so many young people have entered other fields that Canada ranks 26th of 28 developed nations in its ratio of physicians to population. Once, Canada ranked among the leaders in the number of physicians -- but that was before government health care drove doctors out of the practice in droves, say columnists Dick Morris and Eileen McGann.

A recent survey of doctors by the Pew Institute found that 45 percent of all practicing doctors would consider retiring or closing their practices if the Barack Obama health care bill passes.

REPUBLICAN HEALTH PLAN WOULD REDUCE PREMIUMS, CUT DEFICIT

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Wednesday night released its cost analysis of the Republican health care plan and found that it would reduce health care premiums and cut the deficit by $68 billion over ten years.
The Republican plan does not call for a government insurance plan but rather attempts to reform the system by creating high-risk insurance pools, allowing people to purchase health insurance policies across state lines and instituting medical malpractice reforms.

THE PUBLIC'S BEST OPTION: LESS GOVERNMENT, MORE CHOICE

Consumers benefit from choice and competition. The key to both is not more government regulation and control, but less. More competition among health insurers is a consummation devoutly to be wished.
Tear down the barriers to buying health insurance across state lines:
• Under federal law, states are permitted to regulate "the business of insurance" as they see fit, and most of them have seen fit to allow the sale only of insurance policies licensed by their own state insurance commissions.
• As a consequence, there is no competitive national market for health insurance; there are 50 state markets instead, most of which are dominated by a handful of insurers.
Repeal mandatory benefits that make health insurance needlessly expensive:
• Compounding the lack of interstate competition is the way states drive up the cost of health insurance by making certain types of coverage compulsory.
• Consumers and insurers should be free to work out for themselves just how comprehensive or limited a policy should be.
• But state mandates prevent such flexibility by requiring insurance companies to sell a fixed array of benefits that many customers may not want.
• Individuals seeking plain-vanilla health insurance -- a policy that will cover them, say, in case of major surgery or catastrophic illness -- may find themselves forced to pay for a policy that also covers acupuncture, in vitro fertilization, alcoholism therapy and a dozen additional treatments.
• When compulsion takes the place of competition, the result is invariably less choice at higher cost.
De-link health insurance from employment:
• Nothing distorts America's health insurance market like the tax preference for employer-sponsored health insurance.
• Until that preference is removed, tens of millions of Americans will continue to rely on their employers' health plan instead of buying health insurance for themselves, they way they buy every other type of insurance.
• Fix the tax code, and no longer could insurance companies routinely bypass employees and deal only with their employers.
• Instead there would be intensive competition for individual customers -- and the lower premiums such competition would yield.

Gallup Poll: Conservatism on the Rise in America

For the first time since 2004, conservatives outnumber moderates and liberals.
The Gallup organization shows 40 percent of Americans describe themselves as politically conservative, 36 percent moderate and 20 percent liberal. David Almasi, executive director of The National Center for Public Policy Research, said people have seen a liberal administration at work during the past 10 months. The Republican victories in the races for New Jersey and Virginia governors put the party in a stronger position to turn back the political wave President Obama unleashed last year, setting the stage for Republicans to raise money, recruit candidates and ride the excitement of an energized base as the party heads into next year’s midterm elections.

The coalition that swept Obama into the White House was absent on Tuesday night, with evidence that the young, African-American and first-time voters who supported Mr. Obama failed to turn out to help the Democrats Mr. Obama had campaigned for: Gov. Jon S. Corzine in New Jersey and R. Creigh Deeds in Virginia.

Independent voters who had flocked to Mr. Obama in Virginia and New Jersey last year shifted on Tuesday to the Republican candidates in both states, Christopher J. Christie in New Jersey and Robert F. McDonnell in Virginia, according to exit polls in both states. That is a swing that will certainly be noted by moderate Congressional Democrats facing re-election next year, who may now be more reluctant to support Mr. Obama on tough votes in Congress.

When asked if there "is any concern at all about whether it is constitutional for Congress to impose a mandate [that individual Americans must obtain health insurance]," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, "no." He also said he had no reason to believe White House lawyers had ever considered the issue.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning last November's Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Obama to sign New World Order

Last week it was announced that George Soros (the man who helped bring us Obama) had pledged $1.1 billion to fund “Climate Change initiatives”.
“Soros will establish the Climate Policy Initiative, an organization that will work with the US, China, India, Brazil and Europe and ensure that public interests are represented as new issues that affect climate change are established. According to Thomas Holler, who will lead the initiative, “It will be part advisory service, part policy developer and part watchdog.”
What a coincidence !!
That will tie in nicely with this: Obama Poised to Cede US Sovereignty, Claims British Lord (see video and text below) - in December President Obama will fly off to Copenhagen again, this time to put his signature onto a document which effectively establishes a New World Government, based on “Climate Change” - formerly known as “global warming”.

“At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. I read that treaty. And what it says is this; that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not.
But I think it is here, here in your great nation, which I so love and I so admire - it is here that perhaps, at this eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second, you will rise up and you will stop your president from signing that dreadful treaty, that purposeless treaty. For there is no problem with climate and, even if there were, an economic treaty does nothing to [help] it.
So I end by saying to you the words that Winston Churchill addressed to your president in the darkest hour before the dawn of freedom in the Second World War. He quoted from your great poet Longfellow:
