The Biggest Crisis In Our Healthcare System

"This year in Australia alone another thousand or more qualified practitioners in alternative health care modalities will be released from their studies into the business world to practice. I say business world because even though much of their study and training is focused on treatments, as a practitioner many professionals find themselves running their own small business even though what they are actually creating is a job for themselves. These include superbly qualified Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Naturopaths, Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists amongst many other treatment forms. You may be curious to know why this is a crisis. We read so often in the newspapers and see in the media that we have epidemics in obesity, lifestyle diseases, cardiovascular problems, type II diabetes and cancer. One statistic I read last week was that in our lifetime we can expect that ⅓ of westerners will contract a type of cancer. What I am finding so insightful is research into epigenetics, and in particular a study conducted over 26 years in the US that showed at a cellular level that genetic expression can be influenced by nutrition, stress and lifestyle. There is still a crisis, and this is one and not the one I am referring to today. As I work with a number of practitioners in the healthcare industry, many of them highly qualified and offering exceptional care, it frightens me that the average number of patients a Chiropractor or Physiotherapist sees in clinic is about 35 per week. Doing the math on this assuming a fee of say $50 per client, the costs of business operations, rent, taxes and then a home and lifestyle costs makes it an incredibly tight. There is still a crisis, and this is one and not the one I am referring to today. It’s alternative therapies and modalities like Chiropractic, Naturopathy, Acupuncture and Physiotherapy that assist people from the point of view of prevention. Reducing stress levels, providing care in times of health to maintain health and providing care in times where health may be reduced and not to the point of devastation and hospital visits. It concerns me that if as I hear so often it’s too expensive for a practitioner to be in business to the extent that many look for a second job, or work part time hours. This impacts accessibility to services that can assist the community to reduce stress levels, prevent disease and have a healthier life. So where is the crisis? In my thinking it is in the question of personal services, trading time for income and running a business with multiple income streams. Research shows that about 70% of vitamin taking in Australia alone is self-prescribed. You only need to see the line up of Fish Oil in the supermarket to guess that shoppers are not taking their Naturopath down the aisle and having them recommend the blend that will best serve their health. How do we even know we the individual need Fish Oil in the first place? Practitioners who diversify income sources, have income from non-service based goods and services create a business that can support them in holiday time and raise their income to levels that sustain full time practice. Resolving the mindset is not about asking patients to make purchasing decisions they are not already making. There are benefits in redirecting spending from the self-prescribed aisle in a supermarket to a practitioner who has a thorough case history and can make suggestions based on this criteria. We know the spending is happening so the plan is to redirect it. The goal in healthcare is to ensure that as many healthcare professionals as possible can maintain a successful and profitable practice so they can work full time in their profession and provide the best platform to lead people to health before crisis. It takes a business approach and diversification."

Vice President Joe Biden offered a frank assessment of his career in remarks at a Democratic fundraiser in Chicago Thursday night.  According to a White House pool report, Biden, surrounded by the city's movers and shakers, praised former Mayor Richard M. Daley and then said: "I never had an interest in being a mayor 'cause that's a real job.  You have to produce. Well, you can’t be any more descriptive or blunt than that!  That's why I was able to be a senator for 36 years." Yes Joe we know, 36 years of being a taker and catering to the welfare crowd to achieve re-election. Election is the only thing liberals work for.

Biden was elected to the Senate in November 1972, when he was 29 years old.  When he took office in January 1973, he had turned 30, the minimum age set in the Constitution for membership in the Senate.  Biden served in the Senate from that time until January 2009, when he became vice president. And we only have one question, how has the American people benefited by this guy who never had and admittedly does not want a “real” job?

Neither man has ever ran a business or created a job. Neither one of them has made out a payroll. Neither of them has produced anything of value. 

Both have lived off tax payer money for most of their lives...they are nothing more than welfare babies...and it shows!

No budget in over 1,000 days. Think about that one!

Racism in America

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith wants African-Americans to “be patient and look into the future,” setting aside any disappointment in President Obama to actively support his campaign for a second term.

“Our future’s looking bright, because I trust the man who’s leading us. And that man is Barack Obama,”  Smith, 53, says in a new Obama campaign Web video to promote the group African-Americans for Obama. What if the group was called Irish-Americans for Cain, what would the media say that implied?

“I have the president’s back, and it’s up to us as African-Americans to show that we have his back also.”

Ninety-six percent of black voters in the latest ABC News-Washington Post poll say they approve of the way Obama has handled his job, while just 3 percent do not. Is this Racist? White people are split on their support but blacks overwhelmingly support Mr. Obama...why is that?

Questions,

Is it Racist to vote for someone because of the color of their skin?

Is it Racist to publicly support one person over another, because of the color of their skin?

Is it Racist to promote and organize one ethnic group to vote against another ethnic group based on skin color?

What if a white coach was publicly supporting Senator Cain over his challenger, Senator Obama because Mr. Cain is white and white people must stick together?

What if that had been said?

I already got that side. '
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, MS …not only are they real but they breed and vote!

The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'Mr, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4.
He said, 'NO, it's not.' Four is larger than two.'
We haven't used Sears repair since….and breed and breed and breed

Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a quarter.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.' I said, 'Yes, I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar bill back.
She sighed and went to get the manager, who asked me to repeat my request.
I did so, and he handed me back the quarter, and said, 'We're sorry but we could not do that kind of thing.'
The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75 cents in change.

to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road.
The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here!

Put  me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star  cards; no cash

blocks of cheese  and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you  want
steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put  me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get  women
Norplant birth control implants or tubal  legations. Then, we'll test
recipients for drugs,  alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or  use
drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a  job.

Put me in charge of government housing.   Ever live in a military barracks?

You will maintain  our property in a clean and good state of repair.
Your  home" will be subject to inspections anytime and  possessions will be
inventoried.  If you want a  plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your
own  place.

In addition, you will either present a check  stub from a job each week
or you will report to a  "government" job.  It may be cleaning the  roadways
of trash, painting and repairing public  housing, whatever we find for you.  We
will sell  your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting  stereo
and speakers and put that money toward the  "common good.."

Before you write that I've violated  someone's rights, realize that all  of
the above  is voluntary.  If you want our money, accept our  rules.  Before you
say that this would be  "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider
that  it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money  for doing
absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered  self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other  people's mistakes we should at
least attempt to make  them learn from their bad choices.  The current  system
rewards them for continuing to make bad  choices.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence,  you no longer can VOTE!  Yes,
that is  correct.  For you to vote would be a conflict of  interest.  You will
voluntarily remove yourself  from voting while you are receiving a Gov't
welfare  check.  If you want to vote, then get a  job.

Obama Attacks American Farm Families

 The Obama department of labor is attacking the core of America, farm families!

AAmerica was built by farmers and their families. Farming/ranching skills and passions are still passed down to the younger generation. Farm kids are raised with a respect for animals that develops by farming/ranching cores they are required to do. They witness birth, they see death and understand that at times, life is not fair. They see crops come up from their care and labor. They also know  heartache, as they watch the destruction of a rain or hail storm just before harvest. They delight in seeing the new born calves, sheep or baby pigs running and playing together. They remember those cold days drying off a baby and making sure it has a start in life. They also remember the sun coming up only to reveal their pet cow having it’s baby eaten by a coyote as it was born or a pack of town dogs ripping the belles out of the sheep flock. They understand life and death. They understand life is not fair but with hard work, life has many rewards. Farm kids have a real understanding of the commitment it takes to produce a health living thing. A quality that should be held in the highest regard and promoted in a civil society. 

 All families should work together as a team and farm/ranch families do just this on a daily bases. Ranch kids help each day with the care of crops and animals. They understand that those living things depend on them, depend on those kids to perform their job duties. Farm kids feed and water livestock each day before school. They clean pens, they shovel crap and mud, they work in snow, freezing cold and scorching heat. They do this because it is their way of life, how they contribute. to the family and how they earn respect as an individual. Farm kids work alongside their mother and father in the fields and orchards from a very young age. They drive tractors when they can just hold down a clutch (yes, not very many automatic transmissions on farm equipment). They spend their summers working, shoveling, picking, hoeing weeds, driving, riding, branding and doctoring. They also find time to jump in the stream, river or irrigation ditch to cool off,swim and play a game of tag with other farm kids. Those children have grown to be some of the greatest leaders in our nation! A heritage and way of life we most protect!

Sadly, this life style is in stark contrast to the Obama family, currently occupying the white house.

But why are federal agencies, led by President Obama appointees, intent on taking steps that will undermine and ultimately destroy our nation's agricultural heartland, our families?

It's no secret that liberals hold fatty, high-carbohydrate dairy and corn products directly responsible for our nation's obesity rates (funny, don’t see over weight farm kids).  They blame farting cows for a depleted ozone layer and consider ranching as a form of animal abuse. PETA, the American Humane Society and other animal rights organization demonize our rural lifestyle as an uncaring barbaric form of environmental exploitation. The urban schools teach and promote this same misconception to the gullible “city dwellers”.  Yet the government's attack on farm/ranch families by effectively banning farm kids from working on their own farms goes beyond outrageous. The intent can only be viewed as a full frontal attack on America.

Under new standards being advocated by the Obama Labor Department, youths under the age of eighteen would be prohibited from working in hay lofts, giving shots, caring for baby animals, and being in the vicinity of animals whose behavior may be "unpredictable."  So, the federal government under the direction of Obama would destroy one of Americas greatest treasures, the farm/ranch family.

Ask yourself, why?

Does Obama think that the mother and father of those farm/ranch kids are incapable of caring for and protecting their own children? Does the government think it has the right to interfere in a family’s lifestyle? Is there a hidden place in the constitution that gives the government such a power?

Lose our farm families and where would your food come from? 
Where would urban people go to get food? Do they understand that food is raised/produced, and does not magically appear on the super market shelves?

Or, does the government want to totally control the food production and distribution? Thank about that one!

For me, I remember the old Hank Jr song, “a country boy can survive”

Two Occupy Boston members have been arrested on drug charges.
Bostonians Isaac Bell, 34, and Charlene Dumont, 31, were both charged with distribution of a class A drug (heroin) and possession with intent to distribute a class A drug within 1,000 feet of a school zone, police say.
The 6-year-old child who was living with them in a tent is now staying with family members, police said.
Well, so it was just a wholesome family outing in the park for these Obama supporters

Occupy Wall Street’s Finance Committee has nearly $500,000 in the bank, and donations continue to pour in Hey, hey, lots of Anti-Americans  supporting law breaking, drug using scum! The law breaking, violence promoting, gutless, give me something for nothing, cop car crapping, woman raping, drug using lowlifes, represent the liberal democrat party and are supported by Obama. The whole Obama administration and other like minded government liberals, let this out of control conduct continue day after day with their full support!

Obama says, Ethics really not my cup of tea

President Barack Obama told an audience of high school students in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday that he was “not always the very best student” and that ethics “would not have made it on the list” of his favorite subjects. What is on this fools mind as he address students? As President of the USA is he promoting un-ethical behavior, or just stating the fact that he has none?

“I was not always the very best student that I could be when I was in high school, and certainly not when I was in middle school,” Obama said, speaking at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School. Yes, yes we know that now don’t we! We don’t know where you went to school, what your grades where or in what county you attend school in for the most part, but we do know that you are a poor excuse for a man. One that is arrogant in your beliefs and one that believes in failed socialistic programs. This must be the outcome of your up bring in a fatherless home. A home that was not in America. A home where as you say, you grew up hearing the Muslim cant. To bad you didn't grow up hearing John Wayne! (Fill your hands you................)
